Tips for a high score
- Guard your combo — an unbroken streak multiplies every block, and a single miss drops you back to 1×.
- Hunt the gems — diamond (+30) and emerald (+40) blocks are worth the most, so grab them first.
- Spot the glow — mobs pulse with a warning glow; that's your cue to leave them alone.
- Never touch a creeper — it's the only target that costs a life, and you only get three.
- Stay calm late — spawns speed up near the end, so precise clicks beat panic-clicking.
Frequently asked questions
What is Mine Slash?
Mine Slash is a free Minecraft-themed browser game. You mine blocks with a diamond-pickaxe cursor to score points, chain hits into a combo multiplier, and dodge mobs before a 60-second timer runs out. It runs instantly in any web browser with no download and no sign-in.
Is Mine Slash free to play?
Yes. Mine Slash is completely free, with no download, no installation, and no account required. Just open minespecs.com/play/mine-slash and press Play.
How do you play Mine Slash?
Press Play to start a 60-second round, then click the blocks that appear in the arena to score. Grass gives +10, gold +20, diamond +30 and emerald +40. Chain hits without missing to build a combo multiplier, and avoid the mobs — zombies and skeletons cost points, and hitting a creeper costs a life.
How does scoring and the combo multiplier work?
Each block's value is multiplied by your current combo. Every successful hit raises the multiplier; a missed click or hitting a mob resets it to 1×. Zombies subtract 15 points, skeletons subtract 20, and creepers explode and cost one of your three lives.
How do I get a high score in Mine Slash?
Focus on keeping your combo alive — an unbroken streak multiplies every block, so consistency beats frantic clicking. Prioritise high-value diamond and emerald blocks, watch for the pulsing glow that marks a mob, and never click a creeper.
Can I play Mine Slash on mobile?
Yes. Mine Slash works on phones and tablets — just tap the blocks instead of clicking. It runs in the mobile browser with no app to install.
Is there a leaderboard?
Yes, Mine Slash has a global leaderboard. When your run ends you can enter a name and submit your score to the top-100 board — no login needed — and share it with friends.
Is Mine Slash an official Minecraft game?
