Minecraft, but Mobs Grow As You Play
A world clock ticks in the background from the moment you load in. Every four minutes it advances a growth stage, and every hostile mob that spawns from that point on is taller, healthier, faster and hits harder than the one before it. By stage ten a zombie is two and a half blocks of muscle with six times the health and almost triple the damage. Mobs already in the world keep the size they spawned at, so your early-game cave is a museum of how small things used to be. Kill the big ones and they pay out in bonus XP and rare bounty loot.

How it works
- A scoreboard clock counts every tick the world runs. Every 4 minutes it advances the growth stage by one, up to a maximum of stage 10 after roughly 40 minutes of play.
- Twice a second the pack sweeps the Overworld, Nether and End for hostile mobs it has not touched yet, tags them, and stamps the current stage onto them as attribute modifiers.
- Each stage applies a scale, max_health, movement_speed and knockback_resistance modifier, plus attack_damage for melee mobs. Stage 10 mobs are 2.5x tall with 6x health and 2.8x damage.
- Because raising max health does not refill a mob, every scaled mob is immediately topped up to full so a giant zombie actually arrives with its giant health bar.
- Mobs keep whatever size they spawned at forever. The pack never re-scales an existing mob, so the world becomes a visible timeline of when each thing crawled out of the dark.
- Killing a tagged hostile awards bonus XP that scales with the stage, and from stage 6 there is a 15% chance of a bounty drop from a custom loot table.
Installing it
- 1.Download the zip below. Do not unzip it — Minecraft reads the zip directly.
- 2.In Minecraft, click your world, then Edit, then Open World Folder.
- 3.Drop the zip into the datapacks folder inside that world.
- 4.Load the world. Run /datapack list to confirm it is enabled.
NoteData packs apply per world, not per installation — install it into every world you want it in. It changes only what it says it changes, so it is safe to remove later by deleting the zip.
