Everything worth knowing about MineSpecs — free tools, on-site downloads, and how accurate the numbers really are.

Yes, everything is free and runs in your browser. No account or sign-in is required to use any tool, calculator, or download.

Every mod jar we host is byte-for-byte the author's release on Modrinth (the checksums match), and so are nearly all the shader and resource-pack zips. Where a licence rules out re-hosting, or needs source code alongside the jar that we couldn't find, the download button goes to the author's own page instead: 54 mods, 51 shaders and 15 resource packs. Data packs are made by MineSpecs. We don't scan files or repackage mods, and there are no ads, redirects or link-shorteners. If something looks wrong, report it on Discord.

We focus on Java Edition and currently target 26.3; formulas, data and content are updated as the game changes.
