How to play Ore Merge
- 1Press Play. The 4×4 grid starts with two ores on it.
- 2Swipe or arrow-key. Slide every ore on the board in that direction — up, down, left or right.
- 3Merge matching ores. Two ores of the same tier combine into the next one: coal → iron → copper → gold and up.
- 4A new ore drops in. After every move a fresh coal (or iron) appears in an empty cell.
- 5Climb to netherite. Keep merging up the tiers — bigger ores are worth far more points.
- 6Don't clog the grid. It's game over when the board is full with no merges left. Submit your score.
Tips for a high score
- Pick a corner and build your biggest ore there, keeping it tucked out of the way.
- Mostly swipe in just two directions; only break the pattern when you have to.
- Merge small ores early so the board doesn't fill up with loose coal.
- Think a move ahead — every swipe spawns a new ore somewhere.
- Big merges (diamond, emerald, netherite) are worth the most points, so build toward them.
