Alloy Forgery centres on the Alloy Forge, a multiblock smelter that in its default configuration mainly serves as an easy way to raise ore yield. Three forge tiers are available, each built from different stone-like materials with its own fuel capacity and speed. Everything is data-driven, but new forge types can only be registered through mod datapacks or global config files, so the deeper customisation is aimed squarely at mod and modpack authors.

How to install Alloy Forgery

  1. 1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Quilt for your Minecraft version — Alloy Forgery supports 1.17 – 1.21.10.
  2. 2Download Needs owo-lib, plus REI or EMI for recipe viewing as well — Alloy Forgery depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Quilt profile. Alloy Forgery appears in your mod list once the game loads.
