Better Compressed Blocks

A simple space saver: around thirty vanilla materials, from gravel and netherrack through to diamond, netherite, wool and glass, gain condensed forms that hold far more per slot. Useful for mining hauls and bulk building stock that would otherwise fill several chests. It was inspired by Compressed Blocks for Fabric, which covers older Minecraft versions.

How to install Better Compressed Blocks
- 1Install Fabric · Quilt for your Minecraft version — Better Compressed Blocks supports 1.17 – 1.20.4.
- 2Download the Better Compressed Blocks .jar from the button above. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there are no ad-gates or redirects.
- 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
- 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · Quilt profile. Better Compressed Blocks appears in your mod list once the game loads.
