Blazing Bamboo — Minecraft mod
by PaddedShaman
Blazing bamboo generates in uncommon but large patches through crimson forests, shrugging off fire, lava and ghast fireballs and glowing hot enough to burn anything standing too close. Harvested stalks craft into blaze rods, work as a strong and fully automatable furnace fuel, and their fireproof wood makes rafts that cross lava safely, alongside a set of decorative blocks. It can be planted on many stone and dry soils in any dimension, but dies near water, rain or snow - though dead bamboo at least crumbles into gunpowder.
