Lets you use capes from OptiFine, LabyMod and other cape mods. A utility mod from caelthecolher, running on Fabric across Minecraft 1.17 – 26.2. It needs Fabric Language Kotlin and Fabric API installed too. The LGPL-2.1-only license lets us host the jar on MineSpecs directly, so the download never leaves the site.

How to install Capes

  1. 1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — Capes supports 1.17 – 26.2.
  2. 2Download Requires Fabric Language Kotlin and Fabric API as well — Capes depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Capes appears in your mod list once the game loads.
