Eating Animation replaces the static held-item pose with per-item sprite animations while you eat or drink. Support for modded food is delivered through a resource pack bundled with the mod that has to be switched on manually, and it already covers a long list of popular content mods. Custom model data can be animated too if you are building your own pack.

How to install Eating Animation
- 1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — Eating Animation supports 1.16 – 1.21.3.
- 2Download the Eating Animation .jar from the button above. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there are no ad-gates or redirects.
- 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
- 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Eating Animation appears in your mod list once the game loads.
