Immersive Melodies — Minecraft mod

Immersive Melodies adds playable instruments and a song library, with custom melodies loaded by dragging files into the game or shipping them in a datapack. MIDI and ABC support means there is an enormous amount of existing sheet music you can just drop in. It works in multiplayer, so bands are possible, and recipes unlock in the vanilla recipe book once you pick up a copper ingot.

How to install Immersive Melodies

  1. 1This download is built for Minecraft 26.2 on NeoForge. Install that loader for 26.2. Immersive Melodies as a project supports 1.18.2 – 26.2; for other versions get the matching file from the author’s official page.
  2. 2Download Fabric API as well — Immersive Melodies depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the NeoForge profile. Immersive Melodies appears in your mod list once the game loads.
