Paradise Lost is reached by building a frame of Bloomed Calcite and flooding it with water. Beyond the portal is a floating world of new biomes to forage, new mobs and resources, plenty of functional and decorative blocks, and expansive structures holding equipment and valuables. Progression is pitched to sit after the Overworld and Nether, so it slots into a vanilla-style playthrough rather than replacing one.

How to install Paradise Lost

1Install Fabric · NeoForge for your Minecraft version — Paradise Lost supports 1.16.4 – 1.21.1.
2Download Needs Sherds API, plus Sinytra Connector and Forgified Fabric API on NeoForge as well — Paradise Lost depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge profile. Paradise Lost appears in your mod list once the game loads.
