Show Me Your Skin! is a client-side mod, with optional server-side support, that gives each armour piece plus the elytra and shield its own visibility settings through a single GUI. You can hide pieces outright, suppress enchantment glint, toggle name tag display, and sync settings from a server that also runs it. Worth knowing that gradual armour transparency was removed in version 2.0 and the author points people needing it to Armor Hider instead.

How to install Show Me Your Skin!

  1. 1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — Show Me Your Skin! supports 1.18.1 – 26.1.2.
  2. 2Download Needs CICADA, Cardinal Components API and owo-lib as well — Show Me Your Skin! depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Show Me Your Skin! appears in your mod list once the game loads.
