SmartBrainLib rebuilds Mojang's brain-based entity AI into something modders can work with, auto-handling memory types, allowing dynamically configured sensors and supplying prebuilt advanced behaviours. It is a developer library rather than a content mod, so you install it when something else asks for it. The older goal system is still simpler for basic mobs; brains are for more complex interactions.

How to install SmartBrainLib

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — SmartBrainLib supports 1.16.5 – 26.2.
2Download Needs Fabric API as well — SmartBrainLib depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. SmartBrainLib appears in your mod list once the game loads.
