The enchantment itself is deliberately lightweight, but almost everything about it is configurable: rarity, maximum level, whether it counts as treasure, appears on books or shows up in villager trades, plus blocks and distance per level, diagonal mining, drop relocation, tool damage and player exhaustion. Settings live in client, server and common TOML files, which makes it easy for modpack authors to land on their own balance rather than accept one fixed behaviour.

How to install Vein Mining

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Vein Mining supports 1.16.4 – 1.21.
2Download Needs Cloth Config API and Fabric API as well — Vein Mining depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Vein Mining appears in your mod list once the game loads.
