XPlus ContingameIME continues the IngameIME line, restoring usable input-method typing in Minecraft in windowed and full screen mode alike. A hotkey toggles between the temporary input state and the closed state, and double-tapping it switches to open mode. It is Fabric only for now, with Forge listed as unsupported.

How to install XPlus ContingameIME

  1. 1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — XPlus ContingameIME supports 1.21 – 1.21.5.
  2. 2Download Satin API, Cloth Config API and Fabric Language Kotlin as well — XPlus ContingameIME depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. XPlus ContingameIME appears in your mod list once the game loads.
