How to install Subtly Glowing Ores

1. 1Download the Subtly Glowing Ores .zip from the button above — keep it zipped. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there is no ad-gate or redirect.
2. 2Launch Minecraft 1.21.9 – 26.3 and open Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder.
3. 3Drop the .zip into that resourcepacks folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks on Windows).
4. 4Back in-game, move Subtly Glowing Ores to the right-hand column to activate it and click Done. No restart needed — textures swap immediately.

Resolution & compatibility

At 64x it has four times vanilla's detail along each edge of a texture, so it uses noticeably more VRAM than a 16x pack. Subtly Glowing Ores retextures blocks, decoration, simplistic, themed, tweaks, utility, and works alongside other packs — Minecraft applies them top-down, so put Subtly Glowing Ores above any pack you want it to override. It also stacks cleanly with shader packs, since resource packs change textures while shaders change lighting.
