Built for a PVP practice map, Carpet PVP corrects the fake-player quirks that break combat testing - gliding with /player jump, fall distance not updating for crit and mace behaviour, reversed yaw and pitch on /player look, and assorted movement edge cases. It also extends the command set with target selectors, look modes, a separate playerspawn command, a shield-stun toggle and item cooldown control, all drivable from a datapack. The project is archived, with HeroBot named as its successor on newer versions.

How to install Carpet PVP

1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — Carpet PVP supports 1.21 – 1.21.5.
2Download the Carpet PVP .jar from the button above. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there are no ad-gates or redirects.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Carpet PVP appears in your mod list once the game loads.
