Dynamic Trees Plus handles foliage that would not fit in the base mod: four cactus species with distinct looks that generate in desert and badlands biomes, and, on 1.18.2 and above, red and brown huge mushrooms that grow and fall like dynamic trees. Cacti now behave more like berry bushes, only slowing and pricking you when you move against them, and no longer destroy items on contact - both revertible in the config. Saguaro cacti bear edible fruit, best harvested once open.

How to install Dynamic Trees Plus
- 1Install NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Dynamic Trees Plus supports 1.16.4 – 1.21.1.
- 2Download Needs Dynamic Trees as well — Dynamic Trees Plus depends on it and will not load without it.
- 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
- 4Launch Minecraft using the NeoForge · Forge profile. Dynamic Trees Plus appears in your mod list once the game loads.
