Worth knowing

• Six blocks give four stairs, so crafting stairs loses a third of the material.
• The mirrored staircase shape works identically, and every craftable stair uses this pattern: planks, stone, sandstone, quartz, brick, copper and, since 26.3, wool and concrete.
• A stonecutter makes one stair from one stone-type or concrete block with no loss, but does not accept wood or wool.
