What you need

• Cobblestone×6

Worth knowing

• Six blocks give four stairs, so crafting stairs loses a third of the material.
• The mirrored staircase shape works identically; any planks, stone, sandstone, quartz or brick type follows this pattern.
• A stonecutter makes one stair from one stone-type block with no loss, but does not accept wood.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
