How to install ChicknTurtle's Better Shield

1. 1Download the ChicknTurtle's Better Shield .zip from the button above — keep it zipped. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there is no ad-gate or redirect.
2. 2Launch Minecraft 1.9 – 26.2 and open Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder.
3. 3Drop the .zip into that resourcepacks folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks on Windows).
4. 4Back in-game, move ChicknTurtle's Better Shield to the right-hand column to activate it and click Done. No restart needed — textures swap immediately.

ChicknTurtle's Better Shield retextures combat, equipment, gui, items, models, simplistic, tweaks, utility, and works alongside other packs — Minecraft applies them top-down, so put ChicknTurtle's Better Shield above any pack you want it to override. It also stacks cleanly with shader packs, since resource packs change textures while shaders change lighting.
