This is some 3D rails I made in Blockbench designed to fit within the Vanilla world! A 16x pack from link4213 covering blocks, decoration, models, simplistic, tweaks and vanilla like, built for Minecraft 1.8 – 26.2. It's licensed MIT, so the download is mirrored here on MineSpecs — drop the zip straight into your resourcepacks folder.

How to install Link's 3D Rails

  1. 1Download the Link's 3D Rails .zip from the button above — keep it zipped. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there is no ad-gate or redirect.
  2. 2Launch Minecraft 1.8 – 26.2 and open Options → Resource Packs → Open Pack Folder.
  3. 3Drop the .zip into that resourcepacks folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\resourcepacks on Windows).
  4. 4Back in-game, move Link's 3D Rails to the right-hand column to activate it and click Done. No restart needed — textures swap immediately.

Resolution & compatibility

At 16x it matches vanilla's native resolution, so it costs essentially no extra VRAM and runs anywhere Minecraft runs. Link's 3D Rails retextures blocks, decoration, models, simplistic, tweaks, vanilla like, and works alongside other packs — Minecraft applies them top-down, so put Link's 3D Rails above any pack you want it to override. It also stacks cleanly with shader packs, since resource packs change textures while shaders change lighting.
