Accessories supplies the slot framework other mods hang their wearables on, following the ground laid by Curios and Trinkets but with one common API across both loaders. Banners can be equipped in the head slot out of the box, while elytra and totem support ship disabled and are enabled in the config. Existing Curios and Trinkets mods can be brought under it with the separate Accessories Compatibility Layer, and a model translation API is included for developers.

How to install Accessories

  1. 1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Accessories supports 1.20.1 – 1.21.10.
  2. 2Download Needs Cloth Config API, owo-lib and Fabric API as well — Accessories depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Accessories appears in your mod list once the game loads.
