Boids rewrites how schooling fish move using the three classic flocking rules: separation to avoid crowding, alignment to match the group's heading, and cohesion to stay near its centre. Nothing new is added to the game, so this is purely a behavioural change that makes oceans and rivers look alive.

How to install Boids
- 1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — Boids supports 1.20 – 26.2.
- 2Download Needs Fabric API as well — Boids depends on it and will not load without it.
- 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
- 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Boids appears in your mod list once the game loads.
