Nether Depths Upgrade populates the lava oceans of the Nether with new fauna and flora, giving those empty orange expanses something to find. A new enchantment and a potion are included so you can actually get down there and look. Deliberately small in scope rather than a full Nether overhaul.

How to install Nether Depths Upgrade

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Nether Depths Upgrade supports 1.16.5 – 1.21.1.
2Download Needs Geckolib as well — Nether Depths Upgrade depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Nether Depths Upgrade appears in your mod list once the game loads.
