Nether Depths Upgrade — Minecraft mod

Nether Depths Upgrade populates the lava oceans of the Nether with new fauna and flora, giving those empty orange expanses something to find. A new enchantment and a potion are included so you can actually get down there and look. Deliberately small in scope rather than a full Nether overhaul.

How to install Nether Depths Upgrade

  1. 1This download is built for Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric. Install that loader for 1.21.1. Nether Depths Upgrade as a project supports 1.16.5 – 1.21.1; for other versions get the matching file from the author’s official page.
  2. 2Download Geckolib as well — Nether Depths Upgrade depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
