Carry On answers the old question of why a filled chest cannot be moved by hand. Shift-right-click a single-block tile entity or a mob with empty hands to lift it and right-click to set it down, with inventory, states and NBT data all preserved. It handles blocks from other mods including tech machines, respects lock functionality so containers cannot be stolen, and excludes hostile mobs in survival by default - all adjustable through a thorough config.

How to install Carry On

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Carry On supports 1.12.2 – 1.21.11.
2Download Needs Cloth Config API as well — Carry On depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Carry On appears in your mod list once the game loads.
