Tips puts the otherwise blank world loading screen to work, displaying a useful hint and cycling to a new one every five seconds. The pool is open: resource packs, other mods and modpack authors can all add their own entries, which makes it a practical way to teach custom mechanics inside a pack.

How to install Tips

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Tips supports 1.12.2 – 1.21.1.
2Download Needs Prickle, Bookshelf and Fabric API as well — Tips depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Tips appears in your mod list once the game loads.
