Client Sort adds quick, flexible sorting to inventory and container screens without needing anything installed server-side, though a server copy is optional if the operator wants it. Because it works from the client it can be used on most multiplayer servers as well as single-player. Configuration runs through Cloth Config and Mod Menu.

How to install Client Sort

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Client Sort supports 1.20 – 26.2.
2Download Needs Fabric API, Cloth Config API and Mod Menu as well — Client Sort depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Client Sort appears in your mod list once the game loads.
