Pressing sneak mid-flight applies drag, bleeding off speed and killing firework propulsion, with a distinct wing animation while you slow down. It also caps fall distance while drag is applied so a fast landing costs less health, and the drag coefficient, fall cap and minimum speed threshold are all configurable. The mod must be installed on the server to function; clients only need it to see the wing animation.

How to install Elytra Drag

1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — Elytra Drag supports 1.19 – 1.21.1.
2Download Needs Fabric API as well — Elytra Drag depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Elytra Drag appears in your mod list once the game loads.
