Gliders can be made from wood, iron and gold through to diamond and netherite, each tier a step up, giving you controlled descents and safer cave and cliff traversal long before the End is on the table. They are deliberately less powerful than the elytra so a server does not turn into a race for wings, and come with first- and third-person animations. The design goal throughout is to stay vanilla-friendly rather than reshape progression.

How to install Gliders

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Gliders supports 1.19.2 – 1.21.1.
2Download Needs Fabric API as well — Gliders depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Gliders appears in your mod list once the game loads.
