Forgotten Graves catches your inventory and experience on death and places them in a grave block that decays at random intervals through four stages, so recovery is not guaranteed indefinitely. Almost everything is configurable, and the wiki documents both grave behaviour and mod compatibility. The author develops it mainly for their own server, so requested features are not always taken up.

How to install Forgotten Graves

1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — Forgotten Graves supports 1.18.1 – 1.20.4.
2Download Needs Cloth Config API as well — Forgotten Graves depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Forgotten Graves appears in your mod list once the game loads.
