Health Indicators draws a configurable health bar, or a plain number, above entities along with an optional armor indicator. Visibility can be filtered by entity category, entity type, player name, distance, or whether you have attacked or damaged the entity or are currently looking at it. The indicator reacts to status effects the way vanilla hearts do, turning green under poison, black under wither, showing absorption in yellow and vibrating during regeneration.

How to install Health Indicators

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Quilt for your Minecraft version — Health Indicators supports 1.20.1 – 26.1.2.
2Download Needs Fabric API, Architectury API and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL) as well — Health Indicators depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Quilt profile. Health Indicators appears in your mod list once the game loads.
