Inventory Sorting — Minecraft mod

Inventory Sorter tidies chests and inventories via a sort button, a keybind, a double-click on an empty slot, or the /invsort command. The logic lives on the server, so the double-click and command routes work for players with no mods installed, which suits public servers and modpacks. The optional client mod adds the visual buttons, keybind support and in-game config menus.

How to install Inventory Sorting

  1. 1This download is built for Minecraft 26.3 on Fabric. Install that loader for 26.3. Inventory Sorting as a project supports 1.19 – 26.3; for other versions get the matching file from the author’s official page.
  2. 2Download Fabric API, Cloth Config API and Mod Menu as well — Inventory Sorting depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Inventory Sorting appears in your mod list once the game loads.
