VillagersPlus expands the villager roster with extra professions such as the Horticulturist, whose outfits, houses and workstations were each designed with a lot of attention to detail. Since 1.20.1 it also supports datapacks that add, delete or customise trades for any profession - currency, amount, maximum uses and experience gained are all editable - and it ships predefined packs wiring in trades from mods like Supplementaries and Promenade.

How to install VillagersPlus

  1. 1This download is built for Minecraft 1.20.1 on Forge or NeoForge. Install one of those loaders for 1.20.1. VillagersPlus as a project supports 1.19 – 1.21.8; for other versions get the matching file from the author’s official page.
  2. 2Download Cloth Config API and Fabric API as well — VillagersPlus depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Forge or NeoForge profile. VillagersPlus appears in your mod list once the game loads.
