Snow! Real Magic! makes the vanilla snow layer behave far more convincingly: it falls like sand, turns to ice when it lands in a water source, piles up during snowstorms, and can share a block with fences, walls and tall grass. Smaller touches include a thinner Bedrock-style collision box, reduced fall damage, and crouch right-click to scoop up a snowball. Every feature can be switched off in the config, with the performance cost of each one documented.

How to install Snow! Real Magic! ⛄

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Snow! Real Magic! ⛄ supports 1.19.2 – 26.1.2.
2Download Needs Kiwi, Cloth Config API and Fabric API as well — Snow! Real Magic! ⛄ depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Snow! Real Magic! ⛄ appears in your mod list once the game loads.
