Immersive Portals — Minecraft mod

Immersive Portals renders what lies on the other side of a portal in place, so stepping through becomes a seamless walk rather than a fade to black. Beyond that it can fold space with rotation and scale transformations for non-euclidean geometry, and ships mirrors, dimension stacking, world wrapping, and commands and datapack hooks for building custom portals. The author advises against pairing it with Sinytra Connector.

  1. 1This download is built for Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric. Install that loader for 1.21.1. Immersive Portals as a project supports 1.16.5 – 1.21.1; for other versions get the matching file from the author’s official page.
  2. 2Download Fabric API as well — Immersive Portals depends on it and will not load without it.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. Immersive Portals appears in your mod list once the game loads.
