Minecraft, but Fishing Catches Treasure

Vanilla fishing is 85% fish, 10% junk and 5% treasure, so an afternoon on the lake buys you cod, a lily pad and a soggy boot. This pack rewrites the fishing loot table from scratch. The junk pool is deleted outright and its share handed to ingots, redstone, lapis, amethyst, quartz and XP bottles. Treasure climbs to roughly a third of every cast: diamonds, enchanted books, rods and bows, nautilus shells, sponges, shulker shells, tridents and a rare elytra. Three casts in ten pull a second item on top, a Lucky Tide grants everyone Luck III every five minutes, and every twentieth catch surfaces a bounty crate.

How it works

Installing it

  1. 1.Download the zip below. Do not unzip it — Minecraft reads the zip directly.
  2. 2.In Minecraft, click your world, then Edit, then Open World Folder.
  3. 3.Drop the zip into the datapacks folder inside that world.
  4. 4.Load the world. Run /datapack list to confirm it is enabled.
NoteData packs apply per world, not per installation — install it into every world you want it in. It changes only what it says it changes, so it is safe to remove later by deleting the zip.
