Minecraft, but You Can Craft Spawn Eggs
Finding the mob you need is the slowest part of any farm build. This pack adds 48 vanilla shapeless crafting recipes that turn a single chicken egg plus a themed ingredient into that mob's spawn egg: leather and wheat for a cow, three gunpowder for a creeper, a bone and packed ice for a stray, an emerald block and a book for a villager. Everything is a real recipe, so it appears in your recipe book, works in any crafting table, and never touches vanilla loot tables. Type /trigger byces_help in chat for the full colour-coded ingredient list.

How it works
- Every recipe is a plain vanilla shapeless craft: put 1 egg plus that mob's signature items anywhere in a 3x3 grid and pull the spawn egg out.
- 48 mobs are covered - 7 livestock, 8 mounts and pets, 6 water and swamp mobs, 4 traders and helpers, 15 Overworld hostiles and 8 Nether mobs.
- Costs are themed and self-balancing: a cow wants leather and wheat, a creeper wants three gunpowder, a villager wants an emerald block and a book.
- A hidden advancement grants all 48 recipes the first time your inventory changes, so they show up in the recipe book - just search 'spawn egg' in a crafting table.
- Run /trigger byces_help in chat for the full ingredient list, grouped and colour-coded, and it re-grants every recipe in case a world reset lost them.
- Nothing vanilla is overwritten - no loot tables, no existing recipes, no mob behaviour - so the pack stacks safely with other data packs and with servers.
Installing it
- 1.Download the zip below. Do not unzip it — Minecraft reads the zip directly.
- 2.In Minecraft, click your world, then Edit, then Open World Folder.
- 3.Drop the zip into the datapacks folder inside that world.
- 4.Load the world. Run /datapack list to confirm it is enabled.
NoteData packs apply per world, not per installation — install it into every world you want it in. It changes only what it says it changes, so it is safe to remove later by deleting the zip.
