Ageing Spawners

Ageing Spawners gives spawners a finite lifetime, turning a captured spawner into a limited resource rather than an infinite farm. Whitelist and blacklist modes decide which mobs are affected, and entries can carry their own limit - "minecraft:pig;5" lets a pig spawner produce five pigs before crumbling. Configuration sits in the config folder, which makes it easy to tune for a server or pack.

How to install Ageing Spawners

1Install NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Ageing Spawners supports 1.12.2 – 26.2.
2Download the Ageing Spawners .jar from the button above. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there are no ad-gates or redirects.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the NeoForge · Forge profile. Ageing Spawners appears in your mod list once the game loads.
