Elytra Slot hooks into the Curios and Trinkets accessory systems to give the elytra a slot of its own in the player inventory. Sitting there it grants exactly the same flight as it would in the chestplate slot, removing the usual trade-off between protection and gliding. Which accessory library you need depends on your loader, so check the dependencies before installing.

How to install Elytra Slot

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Forge for your Minecraft version — Elytra Slot supports 1.13.2 – 1.21.5.
2Download Needs Curios API Continuation, Accessories and Caelus API as well — Elytra Slot depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Forge profile. Elytra Slot appears in your mod list once the game loads.
