MobsBeGone reads a JSON blacklist from your config folder and discards listed entities the moment they try to spawn, whether from natural spawning, commands or structures. The default file already contains every current Minecraft mob, so setup is a matter of choosing rather than typing IDs from memory. It was written for smaller projects that found existing spawn-control mods too complicated.

How to install MobsBeGone

1Install Fabric for your Minecraft version — MobsBeGone supports 1.21.1 – 1.21.1.
2Download Needs Fabric API as well — MobsBeGone depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. MobsBeGone appears in your mod list once the game loads.
