SwingThrough — Minecraft mod

SwingThrough discards the block under your crosshair when that block has empty collision, letting an attackable living entity behind it be targeted instead, and the block outline disappears while you are aiming at the mob. The whole thing is a single small mixin with no extra raycasts or radius searches, so it costs effectively nothing. On NeoForge it needs Connector.

  1. 1This download is built for Minecraft 1.20.3 – 1.21.1 on Fabric or NeoForge or Quilt. Install one of those loaders for 1.20.3 – 1.21.1. SwingThrough as a project supports 1.14 – 1.21.1; for other versions get the matching file from the author’s official page.
  2. 2Download the SwingThrough .jar from the button above. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there are no ad-gates or redirects.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
