ViaFabricPlus — Minecraft mod

ViaFabricPlus builds on the ViaVersion project and adds the client-side fixes it could not, restoring older movement, block and entity interaction and graphics behaviour so legacy servers feel closer to how they originally played. It only runs on the newest client version, only affects multiplayer, and does not support resource packs from older versions. Fabric only - the author has ruled out Forge and NeoForge builds.

How to install ViaFabricPlus

  1. 1This download is built for Minecraft 26.3 on Fabric. Install that loader for 26.3. ViaFabricPlus as a project supports 1.19.3 – 26.3; for other versions get the matching file from the author’s official page.
  2. 2Download the ViaFabricPlus .jar from the button above. It is hosted on MineSpecs, so there are no ad-gates or redirects.
  3. 3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
  4. 4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric profile. ViaFabricPlus appears in your mod list once the game loads.
