VillagerConfig hands villager economics to server owners and pack makers: custom trades load from datapacks, and trading behaviour can be adjusted beyond what vanilla allows. An online generator with a live preview exists if hand-writing datapack files sounds tedious. It is configuration tooling rather than a content mod, aimed at anyone who wants control over what villagers and wandering traders sell.

How to install VillagerConfig

1Install Fabric · NeoForge · Quilt for your Minecraft version — VillagerConfig supports 1.18.2 – 26.2.
2Download Needs Fabric API as well — VillagerConfig depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge · Quilt profile. VillagerConfig appears in your mod list once the game loads.
