Accessories Compatibility Layer wraps both Trinkets and Curios with mixin patches on top of the Accessories framework, letting mods written for either API share one system across Fabric and NeoForge via Connector or Kilt. It replaces the separate Trinkets and Curios compat layers. Rough edges remain: every screen is unified into the Accessories screen, active states are unimplemented, and ICurioSlotExtension is not supported, so stack replacements and tooltip tweaks will not work.

How to install Accessories Compatibility Layer

1Install Fabric · NeoForge for your Minecraft version — Accessories Compatibility Layer supports 1.21.1 – 1.21.1.
2Download Needs Accessories, plus Trinkets and/or Curios as well — Accessories Compatibility Layer depends on it and will not load without it.
3Drop the .jar into your .minecraft/mods folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\mods on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods on macOS).
4Launch Minecraft using the Fabric · NeoForge profile. Accessories Compatibility Layer appears in your mod list once the game loads.
