Dusk is a work in progress minecraft shader. A vanilla like pack by Abstract featuring reflections and shadows, tuned for medium-tier hardware and better. Compatible with Iris and OptiFine across Minecraft 1.19 – 1.21.8. Licensed MIT, so the download is mirrored right here on MineSpecs — no ads, no redirects.

How to install Dusk

1. 1Install a shader loader for Minecraft 1.19 – 1.21.8 — Iris (pairs with Sodium) or OptiFine.Dusk is a shaderpack, so it needs a loader to run.
2. 2Download the Dusk .zip from the button above — keep it zipped. It is mirrored on MineSpecs, so there is no ad-gate or redirect.
3. 3Drop the .zip into your .minecraft/shaderpacks folder (%appdata%\.minecraft\shaderpacks on Windows, ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/shaderpacks on macOS).
4. 4Launch the game, open Options → Video Settings → Shaders, and select Dusk.

Performance & what to expect

Dusk is rated medium performance impact. It wants a mid-range dedicated GPU. Drop render distance a few chunks if you fall below 60 FPS. It renders reflections and shadows. The look is vanilla like.
