How to Make Bow in Minecraft

→

Top row: empty, Stick, String. Middle row: Stick, empty, String. Bottom row: empty, Stick, String. A left-to-right mirror of this also works.

What you need

• Stick×3
• String×3

Worth knowing

• Three sticks curving down the middle with three string down one side; Java matches shaped recipes flipped horizontally, so the mirrored version works too.
• String drops from spiders and from breaking cobwebs with a sword - shears give back the cobweb block itself instead of string.
• Infinity only duplicates plain arrows - tipped and spectral arrows are always consumed.

Where to get the ingredients

Sticks is crafted too — here is how.

Weapons are worth pairing with the right enchantment before a fight rather than during one. Practise the grids in Craft Master. Icons from Saturation++ (Apache-2.0).
