• Smelting kelp restores only 1 hunger and 0.6 saturation, but it is eaten in 0.8 seconds - about twice as fast as any other food.
• Gives 0.1 experience per item smelted, less than meat or potatoes.
• Nine of them craft into a dried kelp block, a compact and fully renewable furnace fuel.
