What you need

• Iron Ingot×5

Worth knowing

• Five iron ingots; nuggets and raw iron do not work, they must be smelted ingots.
• 2 armour points and 165 durability, the same durability as a chainmail helmet.
• Chainmail armour has no crafting recipe at all - it only comes from villager trades, mob drops and chest loot.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
