How to Make Iron Helmet in Minecraft
Top row: Iron Ingot, Iron Ingot, Iron Ingot. Bottom row: Iron Ingot, empty, Iron Ingot.
What you need
- Iron Ingot×5
Worth knowing
- Five iron ingots; nuggets and raw iron do not work, they must be smelted ingots.
- 2 armour points and 165 durability, the same durability as a chainmail helmet.
- Chainmail armour has no crafting recipe at all - it only comes from villager trades, mob drops, chest loot and an armourer's gift to a Hero of the Village.
- The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
