Worth knowing

• Needs a netherite upgrade smithing template, which generates only in bastion remnant chests.
• 8 armour points and 592 durability; each netherite piece also adds 10% knockback resistance.
• There is no crafting-grid recipe - netherite gear is only made by upgrading diamond at a smithing table.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
