What you need

• Oak Planks×3
• Stick×2

Worth knowing

• Any plank type works. The recipe accepts the planks tag, so oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, cherry, bamboo, crimson and warped planks all craft the same pickaxe.
• 59 uses. It mines stone and coal ore, but iron, copper and lapis ore need a stone pickaxe or better.
• The two sticks must sit in the middle column, directly under the centre plank.
• The shape matters but its position does not — this works in any corner of the grid, as long as the arrangement is the same.
